Elma, NY (April 18, 2025) – A serious motor vehicle crash disrupted traffic and left multiple people hurt on Thursday, April 17 in the town of Elma. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident, which occurred on the southbound side of Bowen Road between Billington Road and Woodland Drive.
Although authorities have not yet confirmed the total number of people involved, at least one person was injured. Paramedics rendered aid at the scene before transporting victims to nearby hospitals for further evaluation and treatment. Police temporarily shut down a portion of Bowen Road as fire crews and investigators worked at the scene.
Photos from the area showed traffic backed up and emergency lights flashing as responders navigated the wreckage. Local law enforcement continues to investigate the exact cause of the crash, and further updates are expected.
We hope those injured in this accident make a swift recovery.
