Cheektowaga, NY (May 3, 2025) – A man was rushed to the hospital after being struck by a vehicle on the evening of May 2 in Cheektowaga. The incident took place around 8:58 p.m. at the intersection of Harlem Road and McNaughton Avenue, near the Pine Hill neighborhood and just blocks from the St. Joseph Campus hospital.
Initial reports indicate that the pedestrian suffered a head injury and was not alert when first responders arrived at the scene. Emergency crews from Cheektowaga Police Department and Cleveland Hill Fire Department were dispatched to assist. The victim was transported aboard an AMR ambulance to an area hospital for further evaluation and treatment. His current condition is not confirmed.
The driver involved in the accident remained at the scene and was cooperative with authorities. It has been confirmed that the driver possesses a valid license.
